Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and comprehensive oversight for all aspects of medical and dental education within PM&DC's mandate.
• Develop, review, and implement policies and guidelines for the accreditation, recognition, and quality assurance of medical and dental colleges and teaching hospitals.
• Ensure strict adherence to national and international standards for undergraduate and postgraduate medical and dental training programs.
• Lead initiatives for advanced curriculum development, innovative assessment methodologies, and continuous professional development programs for healthcare practitioners.
• Foster effective collaboration with academic institutions, healthcare providers, and national/international regulatory bodies.
• Efficiently manage departmental operations, resources, and personnel, cultivating a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Advise the PM&DC leadership on emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in medical education, proposing proactive and strategic solutions.
