The Planning & Development Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Director MIS to join its dynamic Urban Policy and Planning Unit in Peshawar. This critical position is integral to the Annual Development Program (ADP) Project, specifically supporting key initiatives such as the Public Policy & Social Protection Reforms Unit and the Sustainable Development Unit. This is a contract-based opportunity, with potential for extension in accordance with government employment policies, offering a unique chance to contribute significantly to provincial infrastructure and policy development within a challenging yet rewarding public sector environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the Management Information Systems (MIS) within the Urban Policy and Planning Unit to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Provide expert technical support and conduct comprehensive data analysis for public policy formulation, social protection programs, and sustainable development initiatives.
  • Assist in the strategic planning, meticulous implementation, and effective monitoring of all IT-related components within various ADP projects.
  • Ensure robust and efficient data management practices, along with timely and accurate reporting for departmental projects.
  • Contribute actively to the strategic formulation and precise execution of urban development policies and strategies across the province.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departmental units to streamline information flow and enhance overall organizational efficiency.
